Why was she always running? It wasn't her forte, that much was for sure, since when Anna ran, sooner or later she would trip over something and hurt herself. But right now, running was truly her best option. Hans and his brothers were armed and they were trained soldiers, so if they caught her and imprisoned her, she would have a much harder time getting out of this than if she kept her freedom. Who would have thought that Hans' brothers were even more obnoxious than he himself? Especially Jurgen. The way he had looked at her when she had had him at swordpoint had told of ice cold ire that would make her pay, dearly. Franz was a pompuous ass that couldn't pass a mirror without looking at himself thrice, but he wasn't too dangerous, he had been easy to best. The same went for Bernd, who was a brute, but sported even less brain. But Jurgen... if push came to shove, she would suspect him to be even more cunning than Hans and infected with an unhealthy glinting in his eyes that flamed up every time he looked at her and which she didn't want to dwell on. Through all the ire she had seen when nicking his skin with the blade, the quick, mean grin had almost suggested that he liked this, in a twisted sort of way... especially since she had managed to get hold of his sword ...
Bah! Anna shivered while running and was pretty sure it wasn't the cold that still lingered in her bones after the curse. This thought needed to get out of her head and quickly! For lack of a better option, she stuck her fingers into her ears and started to hum a children's nursery rhyme. „Ladybird, ladybird, fly away home. Your house is on fire and your children are gone, All except one, And her name is Ann, And she hid under the baking pan.“ Too late she realized two things: One, this nursery rhyme bore way too much resemblance to her own situation, even calling the only surviving child Ann, and two: she might as well brandish a flag over her head to show where she was. So much for running undetected!
Panic rose in her chest and closed off her throat, making her wheeze and stumble. Out of an impulse she turned around, expecting to be grabbed by someone any minute. But as she was still moving, she was now running with her back turned towards her moving direction, which wasn't the best idea. „Oh – ouch, dammit!“ she exclaimed as she felt herself running smack into something. Well at least it hadn't been too solid... surprisingly soft even... as soon as that thought registered in her head, her stomach gave a lurch and her head whipped around, her hands frantically grabbing for the sword at her side, while she gave a little shriek. If this was Jurgen or any other of her persecutors, she would not go down without a fight! She needed to get away, she needed to find Rumplestilzkin and free Elsa from the urn! Once again, her sister had left Arendelle to the wolves and it was all Anna's fault. So once again she would go after her, find her and bring her back to where she belonged!
