i hate what i've become
the nightmare's just begun.
i must confess that I feel like a monster.
i must confess that I feel like a monster.
Rumplestiltskin was having a fairly normal day. He had gone to work in his shop, despite the return of magic, since he had grown attached to the shop and need for a ‘normal’ life. He was trying to be better for Belle, but he also had to make sure she was protected. As long as Regina Mills was around she would not be safe. That woman had told him she was dead, let him believe it even though he was completely and totally torn up about it. And what happens when you cause the Dark One to hurt? Well, let’s just say that Regina was going to find out soon.
As soon as he found where that medallion was, of course. He may have promised Belle that he wouldn’t kill her, but that wasn’t his plan. She wouldn’t die from what he was planning, she would suffer. She would suffer forever for hurting his Belle, for locking her up, for lying to him, for thinking she could control him.
He would go to the end of the Earth to protect Belle. He would kill, he would torture, he would do whatever it took to protect his Belle. And then hope she didn’t find out. He knew that she would not be happy if she found out what he was planning on doing to Regina. He knew that she would not be happy if she knew the sorts of things he would probably end up having to do in order to protect her. He knew that she would not be happy that he was practicing magic and getting a hang of it in this land.
But then again, she didn’t know what he was trying to do. She didn’t know that the magic he was practicing was not really for revenge, even if a small bit of it would be saved for Regina. Almost everything he was doing now was to try to cross the town line. He was trying to find his son. That was the entire point of everything he had been doing. He wanted to have another chance with Bae, with his son. While the chances of Baelfire being alive were slim, he was determined. He knew that it would happen. He knew he would meet up with his son again. That was what the Seer had told him. That was what the Blue Fairy had said would unite him with his boy. That was what was going to happen, he knew it. He just had to make it happen.
